Engine map tuning (so-called CHIP-TUNING)
Completely non-invasive and most often carried out via the OBD2 diagnostic connector.
The so-called CHIP-TUNING is an electronic increase of the car’s engine power (optimization of parameters). It gives driving pleasure and increases road safety. It will allow you to rediscover your car – faster, safer, and consuming less fuel. CHIP-TUNING is based on the use of reserves left by the manufacturer. Such reserves are greatest in cars with turbochargers.
What is CHIP-TUNING really?
The car has a device called an engine control unit (ECU). It is a computer responsible for engine operation under all speed and load conditions. The ECU has knowledge of
how to control the fuel and ignition / injection angle under all conditions. It also receives information from other controllers such as the Gearbox or the traction control system. Modification of these parameters is performed by uploading the program to the controller via interfaces using the diagnostic socket (OBD).
In some vehicles it is required to remove the ECU and open it or connect directly to the pins in the plug (the so-called bench).

Regardless of the method, the expected effect is the same, an increase in power and torque. Generally, such skills, along with the knowledge of how to remake driver maps, require experience and enormous knowledge.
The power that we “serve” is an increase from approx. 15-25%.
The program is each time downloaded from the car and modified on its basis.
Please note that the power after modification may differ if it is for some unexplained
and for a rare reason, your car did not reach the factory power declared and provided by the manufacturer, and did not have any faults. It should then be assumed that the increase in power will be very noticeable anyway, because it will still be raised within safe limits of about 15-25%
